Oregon State Regulators Approve Two Critical Baseline Data Reports For The Proposed High-grade Grassy Mountain Gold Mine

Winnemucca, Nevada – July 5, 2022 – Paramount Gold Nevada Corp. (NYSE American: PZG) (“Paramount” or the “Company”) announced today that the permitting process cleared another major hurdle with the approval of the two most critical Baseline Data Reports (“BDRs”) related to key environmental aspects of its proposed Grassy Mountain high-grade underground gold mine, Ground Water and Geochemistry.

The Grassy Mountain Gold Project (“Grassy”) is located in Malheur County, eastern Oregon, approximately 22 miles south of Vale, Oregon, and roughly 70 miles west of Boise, Idaho.
On November 14, 2018, Paramount entered into an agreement with a wholly owned subsidiary of Ely Gold Royalties (TSX-v: ELY) to purchase a 100% interest in 896 acres known as the Frost Project (“Frost”).
Paramount Gold Nevada owns a 100% interest in the Sleeper Gold Project, a former high-grade open pit gold producer located off a main highway approximately 25 miles northwest of the town of Winnemucca, Nevada.
In August 2021, we completed the acquisition of the Bald Peak project, located in the well-known Aurora mining district in Mineral County, Nevada, and situated on a parallel structure to that which hosts the prolific open-pit Bodie, Aurora, and Borealis mines.
